Anne Youkeles Gemini, ca. 1969 Three-dimensional silkscreen on folded sheets of thin card Hand-signed by artist in pencil, titled and annotated Artist's Proof I from the edition of 100 on the front on thin card printed metallic silver Frame included Anne Youkeles was discovered early on by the renowned gallerist Marion Locks and was known for her beautiful geometric abstractions. In a 2015 interview, she said, "My prints, paintings, and paper works have always incorporated elements of sculpture through the use of folded canvas and paper. " This is a rare late 1960s three-dimensional silkscreen on folded sheets of thin card, signed in pencil titled and inscribed Artist's Proof I from the edition of 100 (on the front) on thin card printed metallic silver.
