This richly textured still life is full of energy. I was inspired by a cheerful bouquet of blooms that i captured in an abstract style. The bouquet is contrasted by a mix of patterns in the floral wallpaper and bold floral tablecloth. I also added loose line work to the foliage for added interest.
About the Artist
Expressionist painter Autumn Rose finds inspiration in the colors of her daily life. She employs a variety of media and tools to generate texture and depth in her work. Guided by intuition rather than plan, Autumn creates abstract explorations of everyday scenes with a notable focus on still life. Pastel pinks and greens are common across her body of work, leaving the viewer with the notion that in the world of Autumn Rose, it is in fact perpetually spring.
