Biographical Sketch of Artist - David Jordan Williams: David Jordan Williams: Born in Pasadena, CA , August 7th, 1951.   Occupation: Award Winning Photographer & Graphic Designer.    Education: De Anza College, Cupertino, California, graduating in 1971 with a degree in Photography & Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, with a BFA Degree in Photography. Since his graduation, with honors, from Art Center in 1975, David has perfected his passion as a photographer, opening Williams Studio in 1980 and creating memorable imagery for a diverse client base. David photographed some of the music industry’s most famous rock legends,including David Bowie, Robert Palmer, Quincey Jones, Robbie Robertson, just to name a few. Concurrently, he has made his footnotes, photographing for several cutting edge fashion houses and clothiers, such as Fiorucci, Alpha Cubic, and Roots. David has also worked with Architects, Interior, and Industrial Designers , Artemide, Luce Plan, Modern Fan, and many others. As a Fine Art Photographer and Graphic Designer, David has broken new ground many times and shown this work in exhibitions throughout his career. Currently, David is Creative Director and Curator for Graphic Encounter Fine Art, providing artwork for the Hospitality and Corporate Art Industries.   "My fine art photography is experimental in nature and a platform for putting my ideas in motion. This artistic sensibility enables an element of expressiveness with all my work and frees me up to try new avenues and ideas, which find their way back into my commercial work, find art projects and creative direction."
