Saint Germain de Prés is a beautiful original drawing by the Spanish-naturalized French artist Vidal Ignace or Ignasi (Barcellona, 1903 - 1988).
A mixed media original drawing (blue ink, pastel and watercolor) signed on higher left margin as "Ignasi Vidal" with the blue ink autograph note "d'après nature"
In very good conditions, including a white cardboard passepartout, this is a really beautiful original drawing representing the French church portrayed "en plein air "with a fluid sign, and bright colors.

Vidal Ignace or Ignasi (Barcellona, 1903 - 1988)
Mentioned on the Bénézit, Vidal was a French painter of figures, portraits, illustrator and etcher, active in the principality of Monaco since 1941. He participates in important collective exhibitions such as: Salons de Printemps, Barcelona and Salons d'Automne, Madrid (1931, 1932, 1933), Salons d'Automne in Paris (1948-1952), Salons de Malmaison (1982).
Personal Exhibitions in Barcelona (1931, 1932), Montecarlo (1941, 1958), and a retrospective in Nice (1959) in Alabama in 1979.
