About the Item

Artist Commentary: Limited edition lenticular LED wall art held in a rectangular frame. Created with constantly fluctuating patterns and color palettes. Lenticular layers cause 3D visual shifts and changes from various viewing angles. In constant motion, these pieces reflect the fluctuating nature of life itself and humanity’s ability to embrace its unpredictable nature. This collection embodies the shifting patterns and cycles that enable us to continuously grow and evolve, despite the unforeseen circumstances that come our way. My hope is that these works are a reminder that a changing landscape can also be beautiful. May these pieces bring strength and encouragement to those who own them. This work transitions through approx. 40 changing color palettes and can be viewed in both light and dark environments. This rectangular design also has a slot to swap between various lenticular compositions. These additional sheets can be purchased separately, please enquire for more information. Also available in a larger size (25" x 19" x 6") -- Please contact us for further details. She has completed her Masters in Public Art at RMIT, with a background in visual display and merchandising. Driven by her interests in atmosphere, stimulation of the senses, embodied experience and social engagement, Jasmine Grace’s artworks build shared experiences between people that evoke senses of wonder, joy and wellbeing. Art, for Jasmine is about exploring lived experience, principally through the creation of immersive atmospheres and experiential encounters. The forefront of Jasmine’s practice focuses on creating experiential and immersive installations for public/commercial spaces and events, alongside producing made to order light installations for sale to interested collectors. Installation art incorporating light, colour, motion, scale and sound are a prominent focus in her public practice. Her installations act as interventions in the use and transformation of spaces, creating shifts in atmosphere that cultivate impactful personal encounters on a social and emotional level. Jasmine’s holistic approach allows people the opportunity to engage in a creative experience that acts as a stimulant in the recalibration of one’s state of being. Her highlight Australian commissions include; ‘Horizons’, a site specific light installation for White Night Geelong Festival, 2018. Alongside, ‘Harmony Tree’ a harmonious soundscape installation for the City of Greater Dandenong in 2017/2018. In 2019, Jasmine was an artist in residence with STEAMplant at Pratt Institute, New York, where she had the opportunity to produce a new interactive and collaborative work - titled 'Breath Consciousness' - using light, sound and motion. Over the years, Jasmine has been the recipient of numerous grants with support from the City of Melbourne, Creative Victoria, STEAMplant Sirovich Family Residency Program and the American Australian Association. More recently Jasmine has been interested in combining light with dichroic tints and lenticular lenses, which are soon to be exhibited around Melbourne.
