About the Item

Presenting a magnificent all original figurative collage in paper by artist Jilla Mannana. Ms. Mannana studied fine art in Iran for many years and has just recently decided to lice now in America. Bathing Beauties is created entirely from small cuts of different colored heavy laminated paper. The artist has been able to capture the figural proportions as well as the light source with extreme proficiency. This is not painted after creation at all; it is the unique cutting of the paper that breathes life into the paintings of women at the baths, executed in a fully cubist style.
