Artist Comments
Thin diagonal lines divide a triangle into several sections, with one part filled in teal while the rest remains white. The artwork captures artist John Diehl's blend of geometric precision and freehand artistry, marked by simplicity and structural elegance. It is part of his Flamingo project, where he creates and exhibits art in remote desert places instead of traditional galleries. John started the series in early 2024 from Palm Springs and culminated in Wonder Valley. The artwork measures 12 by 9 inches, matted and framed to 14 by 11 inches, with a 6 3/4-inch by 5 11/16-inch mat opening and the signature placed beneath the mat.
About the Artist
Artist John Diehl creates large minimalist paintings of equilateral triangles. His practice is a seamless fusion of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge innovation. "I craft my canvases using advanced materials and collaborate with artificial intelligence to generate images inspired by my physical work," shares John. His artistic practice embodies the essence of the posthuman era and blurs the lines between human creativity and technology. John completed his B.A. in Graphic Design in Massachusetts in 2005 and continued his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Florence, Italy. He started selling his work online in 2007 and managed his own art gallery three years later. His studio, which he purchased from one of his collectors, stands on a 16-acre estate in New England and features a private 3-acre exhibition park. It also serves as a home for families of deer and wild turkeys. When he is not painting, he spends time with his wife and dog, plays the piano, cooks the best carbonara, and explores the outdoors.

John Diehl
John Diehl was trained as a classical pianist before ever picking up a brush or palette knife. That love of music permeates his art. Diehl uses landscapes as a means to express feelings rather than capture a scene. Among other emotions, he portrays joy, peace, happiness and solitude. John estimates there are 15,000 brushstrokes in each of his paintings. Diehl attended the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Florence in Italy and currently lives in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Part of artist Janet Hamilton's signature series exploring geometric lines and color grids. "The paint was applied using knives and carefully placed to create this bold and textured abstract," says Janet. The modernist design explores a rich range of blues interspersed with white on a black background, with mosaic-like accents at irregular intervals.
About the Artist
Janet Hamilton is an abstract expressionist who creates heavily-textured and multi-layered paintings. She is an Illinois-based artist whose studio space is a converted library complete with stained glass windows, a balcony and fireplace. Throughout her portfolio, she demonstrates a mastery over color choice; each palette creates a specific emotion and mood. She builds the texture of her painting with many layers to reflect the emotional depth of her passion-filled process.
