"I use a variety of mixed media to produce my work – household glosses, spray paints, acrylics, inks and various printing techniques. I like to apply paint with real freedom and spontaneity to produce paintings that have energy and depth, exploring my passion for surface quality, colour, texture and tactility. This painting combines architectural detail, the number reflecting house numbers. I can alter the number to tailor for a special birthday/anniversary if required."

I like to apply paint with real freedom and spontaneity to produce paintings that have energy and depth, exploring my passion for surface quality, colour, texture and tactility." "My series of ‘Interior Spaces’ paintings have been very popular and are constantly evolving. As a starting point I use a found image or one of my own photographs, adding or removing elements as I feel necessary to enhance the composition. I then start to play with my materials, constantly adding and subtracting. I will often include abstract stencilling to add a sense of drama, and introduce rivets to add further interest. I also enjoy including text, whether stencilled or found words in magazines. The use of black lines and white space have become an integral part of the structure of the finished piece."
