About the Item
Molten focuses on juxtaposition of color, depth, and texture. Paint is added and subtracted simultaneously using a variety of tools including some that have been created/modified to support this project. Molten is heavily textured with numerous layers of paint and plaster. This creates a third dimension which provides a vibrant energy and encourages a viewer to re-engage at many places across the canvas.
