About the Item
This series is based on my interpretation of the colours and textures I see in the cities I have lived in or loved! Venice was a delightful surprise for me. I had expected huge crowds but the streets were deserted and it was a pleasure to explore. It was created using high quality acrylic paint and using mostly palette knives to create abstract forms bursting with color and raw textures that are an essential element in of my work. Because texture is so hard to photograph, if you like this painting now, you will love it in person.
