This painting is very heavily textured using oil paint, wax and mixed media.
My still life paintings often appear in isolation, as do my focal points in my landscape work.
I am interested in creating spacial quality through my work and to do this I often keep them quite minimal.
I use a lot of vintage fabrics in my still life pieces and this one features some of my favourite gold and black pinstripe which works very well with the deep navy blue background and pink flowers.
I’m sure it will make a great addition to your art collection!
