About the Item
This is an abstracted view of a Montana landscape as seen from a car. The tissue and brown paper on the background comes from a 1970s dressmaker's shop. A separate landscape scene is painted on colored paper from a Sherwin Williams color swatch. In Montana, there are landscapes within landscapes. Note that the glue used in the collage can be seen through the paper. This is intentional, as part of the rough and frontier-like feeling of the landscape. This work is unframed.
