For every painting Michele creates, she includes a Poetic Art Statement. "Poetic words emerge while I am painting, which become the statement," says Michele. "It's my intention that these words can be used as a form of meditation with each artwork." Poetic Art Statement: Fasinacion of Light - Reflections of an Inner Journey. This piece is a diptych, meaning it is composed of two separate panels, each measuring 16"x12". The work can be displayed vertically, horizontally or flipped for different effects as pictured in the detail images.

About the Artist
Michele Morata takes a very spiritual approach to painting, letting each piece come through her. Her works feel abstract, atmospheric, and serene. She currently lives in California, near the ocean and mountains, and finds inspiration in meditation and positive human emotions. She considers herself an eco-friendly artist and has researched mediums that are organic or recycled in nature.
