About the Item

Artist Comments
Artist Patrick O'Boyle created this piece as part of his Aerial Landscape series, drawing inspiration from the photos taken during his travels. Landscape elements transform into organic shapes filled with color, line, and texture. This abstract piece encourages imaginative interpretation.

About the Artist
Artist Patrick O'Boyle creates striking abstracts in glowing neon colors, rarely using reference material beyond his own thoughts and dreams. "I work instinctively, letting the materials and process guide me," says Patrick. He always works in series of five, revisiting and reworking each piece at the end until they feel complete. Using brushes with extra-long handles, he paints from a distance, allowing him to view the evolution of the entire composition—from a single color to a vibrant array. Primarily a studio artist, Patrick works from his light-filled space above his garage, complete with an office and seating area. Outside of painting, he is a dedicated real estate rental business owner, a passionate youth soccer coach, and a family man who treasures time with his wife and three children.
