Spectro is a wild abstract metal art piece, hand ground and hand painted by Sebastian Y. The colorful rainbow hues of gold, pink, violet, blue and green flow together in an energetic explosion. This metal masterpiece features a ground/etched artistic pattern in the surface of the metal, behind semi-transparent acrylic paints that allow the grind patterns to shine through the colors. Sebastian has added a darkened vignette effect around the edges to corral the busy design. Finally, the artwork is finished with a glistening micro-flake in the clear coat for an added element of sparkling gloss.
The durable substrate and automotive clear coat finish make this piece easy to clean fingerprints or dust simply by wiping with a soft, clean cotton cloth.
