William Tucker Study for Gymnast IV (De-Accessioned from the High Museum of Art, Atlanta), 1985 Oil Stick on Paper Hand signed by the artist on the front Original vintage frame included This study by the modern British sculptor, William Tucker, was done of the bronze sculpture 'Gymnast IV.' The sculpture is currently part of the Tate Galleries Collection in England. It was one of a series of four that the artist completed in 1983. Tucker, along with Isaac Witkin and Phillip King was part of the New Generation of British sculptors, who at St. Martin's School of Art, and apprenticed with Henry Moore -- who shook up the art world in the 1960s.
