Stratis Tavlaridis, was born in 1990 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is a visual artist who constructs perforated installations out of paper. His works are inspired by everyday life and with his eye for geometric patterns and flowing designs he transforms ordinary items into ethereal manifestations of themselves.
Tavlardis graduated from the School of Visual and Applied Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He lives and works in Athens, Greece.

From Fleur Thesmar – "Memory Box is a painting of how we remember changes in our lives, sometimes in a fuzzy way. Daily rituals can blur important moments where a shift occured. We look at pictures or videos and over time tend to lose details."
Having moved her family from France to America, artist Fleur Thesmar closely observed the changes in her world – from the seemingly obvious such as surrounding landscapes, the light of day and weather, the flowers, trees and shorelines – to the smaller less obvious shifts, such as how one behaves in a new world, in a new home, how one cherishes certain belongings and certain memories.
Her artistic practice is borne out of that close observation and shift in perspective, and has led to a number of successful gallery shows in the U.S. and internationally.
