MEDIUM: Limited Edition Deluxe Cel SIZE: 10" x 11.5" EDITION SIZE: 500 ARTIST: Bob Clampett SKU: BC1015P ABOUT THE IMAGE: In Elmer’s eyes, it’s more than soap that has him over the edge with Bugs Bunny ruining what would otherwise be a “westful wee-tweat”. In the title cel for Bob Clampett’s classic, “Wabbit Twouble,” the graffiti-like lettering against the picturesque canyons of Jellostone National Park, spell out more than the demise of Elmer’s camping trip. ABOUT THE MEDIUM: This limited edition cel set is a recreation from the classic Warner Bros. cartoon, “Wabbit Twouble.” The cel set begins with a master inking from the animation with is then silkscreened onto celluloid. Each cel is then hand-painted and the backgrounds lithography printed on archival rag paper. The set is stamped with the Warner Bros. /Bob Clampett Master Collection seal and finally, the limited edition number is hand-inked on each cel. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Bob Clampett was an American animator, director, producer, and puppeteer known for his work on the Looney Tunes animated series from Warner Brothers. Clampett was promoted to a directorial position in 1937 and during his fifteen years at the studio, directed 84 cartoons later deemed classic and designed some of the studio's most famous characters, including Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, and Tweety.
