MEDIUM: ​Original Production Drawing IMAGE SIZE: 11.5" x 8.5" PRODUCTION: Batman: Gotham Knight SKU: IFA8567 ABOUT THE IMAGE: Batman: Gotham Knight is a 2008 animated DC anthology film. Consisting of six segments titled; Have I Got a Story for You, Crossfire, Field Test, In Darkness Dwells, Working Through Pain, and Deadshot, each telling a different tale of The Dark Knight. Produced by DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation in association with Japanese animation studios Studio 4°C, Madhouse, Bee Train and Production I.G.. Set between Warner Bros. Pictures' Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, the film depicts Batman battling against the mob of Gotham City, as well as other villains. The shorts are written by Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg and Alan Burnett. Although all use Japanese anime art styles, each segment has its own writing and artistic style, similar to other DC Universe works. All six segments of the anthology film star Kevin Conroy, reprising his voice role as Batman from the DC Animated Universe. ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Production Drawings are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-drawn by studio artists!

This collectors item features text, accompanied by 120 full page color offset lithograph bound, double sided plates on regular pages. (Total pages are: 145) It was published by the Whitney Museum in collaboration with Random House, in conjunction with the exhibition held at the Whitney Museum of American Art, November 20, 1979 to January 27, 1980. Text foreword is by Tom Armstrong, the Whitney's director. Total pages are: 145.
