Submerged / from Zolotnitsky's Extinct Series - a series of paintings of chairs. This Jacquard Tapestry by Magnolia Editions is one of six. Ed. 1/6. The tapestry comes with the necessary hardware to mount the work of art to a wall to freely hang. The tapestry is 48 x 48 inches. And comes rolled with the hardware. Shown hanging from a pole. The included hardware mounts to a wall and hides underneath the tapestry, hidden from view. A stunning and provocative work of art. Both contemporary and old world in feeling. Pale blue and golden - warm tones throughout.
Russian American Zolotnotsky has exhibited internationally, and is included in numerous public and private collections worldwide.

Elena Zolotnitsky
Elena Zolotnitsky is a Russian artist born in 1961. She received her MFA degree from the Moscow State University of Cinematography (VGIK). She is inspired by the concepts of beauty, adolescence and time passing. Zolotnotsky’s personal and intimate oil paintings probe deeply into the mystery of the medium itself. She seeks to create works, alive with the raw physicality of paint, to which viewers relate on an emotional level.
