"It's the last beautiful time in August," says artist George Peebles. Purple leaves rustle in the breeze in this vibrant autumnal landscape. A soft haze veils the grey sierra in the distance, hinting at the transition towards the upcoming month. George Peebles is known for his dramatic fall landscapes and panoramic ocean vistas.
