This Letter from Hilaire Belloc to the Countess Pecci Blunt is a P.S. dictated and signed telegram, on letterhead Kings Land, Shipley, Horsham, addressed to Contess Pecci Blunt, November 11, 1937.
Thanksgiving telegram in response to the payment of 5 thousand Lire for the lectures.
He also asks if he can visit Countess Pecci Blunt before Christmas in the famous residence of Rome.
Unfortunately, this meeting would never happen, because Countess had to move to New York in order to escape from the anti-semitic grudge of the Fascist Right (as evidenced by the correction on the envelope of the letter). She had already opened an American branch of La Cometa Theater and stayed there until 1947.
