Noland Anderson is a self taught portrait artist who strives to create works of art that are a celebration of people of color. Represented by Neema Fine Art Gallery, he is known for his detailed compositions in oils applied with loose brush strokes. Born in Newport News, Virginia with roots in Sumpter, SC, Noland's passion for figure drawing was formed at an early age. Noland attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where he received an Associate Degree in Advertising. Upon graduating, he went on to work as a freelance illustrator, designing Judaic art throughout the mid 1990s through early 2000s. During this period, Noland's freelance work extended into television where he worked as one of three court artists for the ABC affiliate in South Florida and as an illustrator for Univision (an American media company serving the Latin Market worldwide). Textures and patterns play a large role in her minimal yet powerful work. // Andrea Stajan-Ferkul is a Canadian artist whose work conveys a sense of experimentation through the use of paint, fabric collage and abstract mark-making. While not exclusive to fashion, dresses have been a compositional focus throughout her oeuvre. With an emphasis on timelessness, her series of dress paintings shift between realistic representation and interpretive impressions. In contrast, her series of abstract works embrace minimalism, considerate to a restrained palette and composition. Stajan-Ferkul began her career in fashion advertising before shifting her focus to fine art in 2000. Her work has been exhibited widely through galleries and art fairs, and hangs in private and public collections across Canada, US and Europe. A graduate of Sheridan College of Art and Design, Andrea's paintings can be found in numerous public and private collections, her work has been published in magazines and book covers, and prints are distributed internationally. Infinity, monumental contemporary white granite sculpture by Khang Pham-New white granite sculpture for outdoor or indoor installation. Sculpture garden ready with a connected base. Granite is durable and easy to care for and can withstand all climates. Polished surface is light grey/white. We first saw his sculptures when they were featured in an outdoor sculpture Biennale in Vancouver with many notable and established sculptors (like Magdalena Abakanowicz, Dennis Oppenheim, Albert Paley, Bill Reid, and Yoko Ono). His work stood out to us and we’ve represented Khang internationally ever since, exhibiting and placing his sculptures in public and private collections for the last 11 years. The response has been amazing. His abstract biomorphic shapes are contemplative and beautiful to view. Khang says: “It is my passion to create monumental sculpture. I invite the viewer to touch and interact with the work. It is especially nice to see small children in and around the large pieces.” Pham-New is interested in the art and form of sculpture as a basis for contemplation and meditation.
