About the Item

Edition of 185 copies plus 20 out of commerce, illustrated with 16 lithographs by J.E. Laboureur. Original soft cover in blue light worn with binding restored, perfect conditions inside. One of the 150 copies on Vergé d'Arches. This is the only book which combines Laboureur's illustration with lithographed texts. The text of Giraudoux, in a facsimile of handwriting, is printed in blue. Very rare. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
