About the Artist
Each of Joe Davis’ paintings excites the eye with a distinctive liveliness. His bright color palette gives his compositions a fantastical warmth and playfulness. Joe explores the ways that an overhead perspective can render everyday scenes into marvelous abstraction. Kites, sails, and umbrellas become super simplified forms that seem to almost dissolve into the scene, elevating each canvas with glamor and sophistication.
