A Greeting autograph postcard sent from Marina di Pisa, the last and definitive place of the artist when he was metitating and dictating his memories to his daughter Giorgia and to Olivia Rossetti Agresti. Collect or present this unique piece of the Roman school artist, as if it was a holy relic! Giovanni Costa (Rome, 1826 – Marina di Pisa, 1903), best-known as Nino Costa, was an Italian landscape painter and patriotic revolutionary. Leading exponent of nineteenth-century Roman painting, he contributed to spreading naturalistic ideas even among the members of the Macchiaioli painting movement. He is also remembered for having actively participated in the Garibaldi campaigns of 1848-49 and 1859.

Informative postcard: the Italian painter of Divisionism, Plinio Nomellini is sending to Beppe Guzzi an artwork reproducing a wave for an eventual exhibition and ask him to fill in a technical form. The background: During the period of this correspondence, Beppe Guzzi (Genoa, 1902 - Rome, 1982) knows his success: from 1930 to 1954 he partecipates to 11 editions of the Venice Biennale and from the third edition 6 times at the Rome Quadriennale, being awarded during the VII edition, as well as he realizes exhibitions in Livorno.
