Walking around Florence, Italy, artist Onelio Marrero came across a charismatic elderly couple asking for directions. Onelio fondly remembers the memory and makes them the subjects of this oil painting. He gets to express the allure of exploring a new city and getting lost in the labyrinthine streets. Onelio masterfully captures the strong light and the intensity of the figures with succinct brushwork and vivid colors.

Onelio Marrero paints city scenes of everyday life.
