In this modernist nude portrait, artist Robin Okun highlights the soft curves of the body against the structure of the space, adding expression with a subtle play of blues. "A quiet simplicity of color and line creates a scene filled with complexity and ambiguity," says Robin. "The painting reflects my fascination with pattern and its juxtaposition to the flat spaces of subtle variations in blue with bold red and black accents."

About the Artist
Robin Okun's work is both intimate and highly relatable. Her paintings reflect an incredible understanding of how we express ourselves in deeply personal moments.
