Inspired by an April full moon, artist Sheila Finch created this nighttime landscape. "The light brought a jeweled glow over the land," says Sheila. "This painting celebrates the quiet moments of beauty and stillness that can be found each day - moments that bring peace and joy into our lives."
About the Artist
Sheila spends many hours studying clouds from the cockpit of her sailboat on the California coast. She's frequently blessed with beaming sunrises and storms that create beautiful displays of light streaming across the ocean or shimmering off the nearby coastal mountain range. Sheila's award-winning paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe. She has received recognition from the National Arts Appreciation Program, and her work has been exhibited at the prestigious L'Espace Bateau Lavoir in Paris.
