Dimensions: Height: 82 inches X Width: 82 inches. (size is approximate label has 2.15 X 2.15 meters) Hand made, hand woven horse hair and wool spectacular textile wall hanging by pioneering woman artist and art dealer of Latin America art, Marlene Hoffmann. It consists of a horsehair design handwoven onto a wool handmade back. (this is a sort of tapestry, not the Aubusson or Gobelin type but more of a 3D sculptural wall piece.) She is considered a pioneer in the field of Colombian textile art, in company with Olga de Amaral and Stella Bernal. She owned and directed an influential gallery on Bogota Colombia for many years.
