The ethereal beauty of nature manifests as the warm glow of the sun kisses the water’s surface. Golden hour bathes the landscape in soft, radiant colors, casting long shadows and creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The calm lake reflects fiery oranges, deep purples, and gentle pinks, blending seamlessly with silhouetted trees and distant hills. Gentle ripples subtly distort the reflection, adding movement and depth.

About the Artist
Artist Srinivas Kathoju creates vibrant expressionist landscapes that reflect the ever-changing colors of seasons and times of day. "Nature tremendously influences my work, fueling my lifelong love for art," says Srinivas. Using primarily oil paints, he layers textures with brushes, palette knives, and even old credit cards to depict expansive fields, mountains, and horizons. His compact home studio—a corner of his living room—is where he paints daily, accompanied by music, an essential part of his process. A full-time software engineer, Srinivas finds joy in interpreting nature’s beauty through bold, expressive compositions that blend impressionist softness with modernist structure, inviting viewers to explore the boundaries of the landscape. In his spare time, he enjoys being with family and friends.
