This set is composed of Two Autographs Signed by Virgilio Guzzi, addressed to Silvio Perina, the director of the C.I.M, Roman warehouses, during the Fifties.
Excellent condition, perfectly readable.
Autograph Receipt Signed. Rome, June 28th 1955. In Italian;
Autograph Card Signed.
The receipt refers to the sale of a drawing by Virgilio Guzzi which will illustrate a poem in a verse-book The card, on the other hand, on heavy ivory-colored cardboard, is a autograph note of good wishes for Christmas or perhaps for the New Year.
Virgilio Guzzi (Molfetta, December 23rd, 1902 - Rome, November 9th, 1978).
Exponent of the Roman School, Virgilio Guzzi was president of the Academy of San Luca from 1974 to 1976. Critic of the periodical Il Tempo, he was a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He has been part of numerous impromptu painting commissions.
