Acrylic & ink on free hanging canvas Achao's paintings are an invitation to joy and serenity. Through a combination of motifs, colors and transparencies, the painting entitled ‘'Vâhana XXXVII, Più vicino del Paradiso’ instills a sense of inner peace and invites us to reinvent our view of the world, to plunge into the depths of ourselves. Vâhana symbolizes the 'vehicle' of the gods in Hinduism. This 'vehicle' aims to carry the divinity, but also to multiply its divine powers. As Achao’s painting aims to open the mind to spiritual emancipation, his Vâhana is the support to allow the mind to float, the gaze and energy to circulate! And perhaps, allow us to reinvent our view of the world. ‘'Vâhana XXXVII, Più vicino del Paradiso’ is an original stencil painting. The painting is handmade by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The artist reserves the right to reuse the same stencil a maximum of 20 times. The number of this painting is n°4 out of 20, as written on the back. The canvas used is particularly robust, and thus allows easy hanging on the wall thanks to a metal rod slipped into a sheath on the back in the upper part of the canvas. The hanging system allows the nail or screw on the wall to be hidden. The canvas can be positioned along the wall without floating. A video is available to give you a precise idea of how the painting can be hanged. The buyer can also choose to have the painting framed. The shipment of the painting is carried out in a very robust tube which guarantees the protection of the work.

    SET US IN STONE I 2022 Paris, France Originally created as part of Nicholas' solo exhibition "This, and Thereafter (Plumes)," December 10, 2022 - January 7, 2023. The theme illustrated the enigmatic uncertainty around what might happen after life. A range of paintings were presented – vibrant and ethereal – touching on different aspects of this notion. Each painting had a different point of view, oftentimes focusing around the inevitability of what is to come, and if and how it influences the present. This particular piece centers around personal legacy, how you will be remembered, and how your life vanishes into an abstraction as time goes by. This notion is visualized with a bust set in stone. The technique Evans used was a mixing of water-based ink with a hint of blue, that he knew would react when overlaid with white acrylic, pulling out a lighter hue of the blue ink. The white silhouette of a portrait set in stone creates a ghostly continuation of the underlaid pattern. Option to create a pair alongside "Set Us In Stone II" (as pictured).
