Andres Ciccone’s artistic work is the creative outcome of profoundly conducted research in Kinetic/Op-art theories and practices, with the objective to surpass the boundaries of movement, space, and color in art. The artist’s eagerness to outperform ‘already done’ conventions in Kinetic and Op-art is expressed in the development of his artworks where the increase in optical and kinetical complexity cannot be missed. Currently based in Lisbon and Berlin, Andres Ciccone ambitiously continues his defiant artistic research in order to create never seen before, multidimensional experiences, where the viewer’s perception is challenged through the movement of geometrical forms that are composed through rhythm, color and equilibrium.
