About the Item

Capturing movement in acrylic paint, Armen Ges experiments with optical illusions and perspective in his original pop artworks. To create these intriguing visuals, Ges employs traditional gestural techniques in combination with graffiti. Through this process, his artworks gain an elevated degree of complexity. Each artwork embodies a dream-like state, one without a rigid structure and as a result expresses a sense of joy, movement, and happiness. This vibrant pop art painting measures 36 inches square and 1 inch deep. This artwork is created with layers of acrylic paint, giving this original artwork a three-dimensional feeling akin to photorealism. The sides are painted white and it does not require framing. It is wired and ready to hang. This painting is signed on the front and back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and global shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Ges received a degree in Psychology as well as Visual Public art from California State University, Monterey Bay. As his style evolved, he began to implement his background in psychology into his work to push the boundaries of his abstraction. “My art revolves around the intersection of the human psyche. Creativity keeps me going, with each piece coming out different from the next. My approach is all about process and immersing myself in my work. Color for me is a fundamental yet imperative tool. I strive to create an inclusive atmosphere with the acceptance of multiple perspectives and various influences.” Ges' works have been exhibited throughout Southern California since 2018 and at Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles since 2021. Vibrant and dynamic, her abstract compositions emanate energy and warmth, infusing any space with an inviting atmosphere. This 36-inch square original and vibrant painting is wired and ready to hang. The sides of the red, yellow, and black artwork are painted black eliminating the need for framing and creating a cohesive, finished look. The painting is wired and ready to hang, making it a hassle-free addition to any wall. It's signed by the artist on the back, adding an extra touch of authenticity and value. Free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with the artwork, ensuring that the piece is an authentic work of art from Janette Dye. Born in England in 1962, Janette Dye's artistic journey was shaped by the contrasts and movements of her upbringing in a quaint village near the industrial city of Manchester. Early on, she received guidance from the renowned English painter, Harold Riley, igniting her lifelong passion for art. Later, the works of Riley's mentor, L.S. Lowry, resonated deeply with Dye, reflecting the strained moods of Northern factories and their laborers—a subject intimately connected to her family history. Inspired by Lowry's ability to capture overpowering emotions through strong stylized forms, Dye delved into abstract art, discovering a profound connection between her art and everyday life. In recent years, Dye has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed artists such as DOWNS, mentored by Karl Benjamin and Frederick Hammersley. Her artworks have graced exhibitions throughout the United States and have found a home in the prestigious Capital One corporate collection. • Abstract Painting, Acrylic on Canvas, Blue, White by Indian Artist "In Stock"
    By Akhilesh
    Located in Kolkata, West Bengal
Akhilesh - Untitled - 30 x 30 inches (unframed Size) Acrylic on canvas Inclusive of shipment in a roll form. Style : Akhileshs paintings appear to be a collection of beginnings. But there are no ends. His work gives a feeling of being left unfinished and yet it does not seem incomplete. It is not possible to look at it in terms of a beginning leading to an end. The way he uses lines may lend a certain linearity to his work but these lines seem to melt into the canvas, refusing to lend typical linear characteristics to his work. His paintings appear to be full of freshness and the colours resonate with emotions. He does not delve into virginal territory. Rather he sticks to familiar ground. It is his method of translating familiar territory on to canvas that imparts an individual characteristic to his work. His paintings do not scream for attention and have little to offer to the casual, hurried viewer. But for the patient observer, they are an enriching experience. About the Artist & his works : Born :Indore in 1956. Education : His father was a teacher of art in Madhya Pradesh. Akhilesh consciously resisted all attempts at becoming an artist initially but the final year of school saw his resolve weakening. He then went on to earn a Diploma in Fine Arts. Art Career : He belongs to the breed of artists who come from the provincial towns of India - rooted in traditions and sporting a fresh outlook. He has been influenced by tribal and folk traditions of Madhya Pradesh; at the same time being aware of the trends in the Art World. Solo Shows : He has held 25 solo shows all over India, and has participated in important group shows. He has curated many shows namely Women in Painting...
