    François Benoit Lison (1968 - ) "Unwrapped" Acrylic and lacquer on canvas 100 x 81 cm 2022 Born in Granville, France, on April 14, 1968, François Benoît-Lison began with a figurative approach, which gradually evolved into abstraction, first lyrical, then more contrasting, where black reigns supreme. Black is a sacred color, sometimes dark, sometimes dazzling, without limits, it can be dominant or gentle. After acrylics and oils, bituminous pastes and inks opened another door, that of the abstract, much more profound and contemporary, with the possibility of working these materials in many aspects and forms.
