About the Item
With layers of bright oils and whisking brush strokes, the paint is able to shine and shimmer in a very unique pattern. This painting is from Shaoul's more contemporary works with a very decorative airy style. This style is focused on the simplicity of beauty in the moment; the artist creates a translucent but very colorful pallet with the use of golden paint, evoking a result which is clean, fresh and modern.
Having built a diverse body of work since her early career ranging from portraits to abstract paintings of the universe, today Cindy's works exhibit a more impressionistic technique. She is mostly known for her consistent impressionistic street scenes which resemble the ashcan school, depicting old cars on the road during the early 20th Century. Her whimsicality is precious, leaving much room for nostalgia in her works. For more than a decade her works have been a part of several important Exhibitions throughout New York City. Her works are part of private collections including ‘Dr. Issac Shohar’ and ‘Zion Yakabov’ in Tel Aviv, Israel, and ‘Alex Acevedo’ on Madison Ave., New York.
