Part of a series ‘Ancient Paths’ investigating the bare bones of the landscape. In this case looking at our imprint on the planet. After repeatedly drawing the landscape enplein air I went back to the studio and abstracted the drawings.
Using purely monotype means that it is a one-off, and went through the press once only.

This monotype is part of the ‘Ancient Paths’ series. Looking at the impact of our lives on the world we in habit, the underlying music and patterns I then go back to my studio to abstract my work.
As such this is monotype is unique, a one-off print having only passed once through the press.
