Dark Matter / 2021 Während sich viele meiner Arbeit mit Interaktion oder Umsetzung in die reale auseinandersetzen, ist die Werksserie Dark Matter eine in sich geschlossener komplex. Jede Arbeit bildet ihren eigenen Kosmos und ist dabei als autarkes System zu betrachten. Das spiegelt sich auch in den Formen der Körper und ihrer Interaktion miteinander wider. Die Bewegungen sin ruhiger geworden, teilweise lässt sich nur mehr ein knick oder eine Biegung finden. Der Hintergrund ist schwarz und strahlt dadurch ein gewisse leere, vielleicht auch ruhe aus. Unmenschlich oder geradezu lebensfeindlich wirken die Arbeiten in ihrem Ökosystem. Dabei cachieren sie zwischen Zweidimensionaliät und räumlicher tiefe. Der menschliche produktionsabläuft lässt sich nur wenigen stellen finden, sonst sind die Arbeiten glatt und unberührt. Mit dieser Serie war es das Ziel, die Fragestellung über die Malerei im digitalen Zeitalter weiter voranzutreiben und zu schauen wo diese Reise hingehen könnte. Neben einheitlichen Körpern, gibt es auch organische Farbverläufe die wie eine räumlich begrenzte Ursuppe ihren Platz in den Arbeiten finden und in ihre Produktion, bis auf die Farbauswahl nicht zu steuern sind. Diese Elemente frieren den Prozess des Drucks ein und machen ihn sichtbar. Damit tragen die Arbeiten auch etwas Menschliches sich, dass sich jedoch nicht für jeden offenbart.
