An oil panting on Canvas, inspired by autumn nature scenes where flowers, trees, branches, bushes, and skies, assembles in a vibrant and bright multicolor dance in thick layers of oil paint applied by knife and hand, enhanced by touches of Acrylic and Spray paint.
Framed in a Blond Oak Wood Frame 130 x 97 cm unframed (51" x 38" ) - please add 5 cm 1.5" for framed size.
Gérard Stricher, an abstract impressionist, uses oil paints as his medium to create vibrant landscapes and nature. His paintings take the viewer on a welcoming journey; soon absorbing one to an experience in his world. Drawing from a basis of COBRA, his style begins to take life as these resonances dim.
Gérard's work "ignites in great impulses and curves, coming alive in a flood mastery of colors, with the assurance of the gesture generating forms according to an intense rhythm, breathing pauses appeased, a chromatic autonomy, and, little by little, emerges a subtle seduction.
