About the Item

About the Artist: Art Decorator, working in contemporary colors for interiors. "I love to draw from an early age, so my profession was predetermined. After graduating from Art School in 1993, I started working as an illustrator in a printing company. That experience led to a second profession as a textile designer. Since 2010, I have devoted myself completely to my creative endeavors and began to create paintings for my clients' interiors. My works are now included in private collections in The USA, Spain, Russia. The style of my work is an abstract vision of ordinary people and things as seen from an unusual angle. • Winter landscape - abstract painting made in blue, pink, turquoise color
    By Sardor Erkinov
    Located in Fort Lee, NJ
I am primarily inspired by my culture. Like every artist, I want to show the motifs of my country and my world through the prism of contemporary art. Of course, one cannot fail to note the influence of Western culture and contemporary artists such us Van Gogh, Matisse, Francis Bacon, in my works. I take color from one artist, and freedom from another, and create my own world and technique. There are a lot of oriental scenes from poems and Persian literature in my paintings as well. There is also a series of abstract landscapes, where I take oriental landscapes as a basis and mix them with abstraction. As a result, I receive freedom of color and emotions. Sardor Erkinov...

Sailing into the Sun is an abstract landscape painting. It is oil on canvas. It is gallery wrapped so there is no need for a frame. On a summer morning in 1993 a 22 years old young came to Florida from a small old town in the central area of Cuba called Santa Clara. In his bag, he brought no more than two valuable things, his worn-out brushes and a great dream. The dream to one day become a professional artist in this new land that welcomed him with open arms. Captivated by his love for the beauty of the Landscapes, his last works are what he sees even in the most common scenes: the close relationship of life and who we are with the natural world around us that asks us to respect and care for it. Artist Statement: " I like to scrutinize in the simple things, sometimes it is there where the lost painting is waiting to be found by the painter's eyes. The landscape painting gives me the opportunity to establish a close relationship with the natural world and humbly capture on a canvas a little of its beauty listening to its voice that reminds us how valuable we are and how much we should love it". Coral Drifters is part of the Light in the Deep Series by artist Ellen Hart. Coral Drifters investigates the ubiquitous patterns of light, shadow and reflection that we all experience daily, but that we rarely stop to notice. The works reflect a perceptual duality: a tangible, distinct moment and place when the source pattern is found, intertwined with the fleeting and ephemeral nature of time. As light and atmospheric conditions shift, my source patterns morph, move and change. LOOK FOR FREE SHIPPING AT CHECKOUT This can be seen as an underwater landscape...
