The flooded city is one of the best works of the artist Giuseppe Zumbolo. It is made on canvas painted in mixed technique, in 2022, from the Future Pop City Cycle.
With this work, the author wished to describe a city flooded by water, a large metropolis that is submerged by water due to the rising sea level. Below are the people, spectators who observe the scene as if it did not concern them directly. It is a pop story, apparently light, which brings to our attention an increasingly evident problem. Nature rebels against the abuse to which man subjects it. We need to change our way of life and move towards sustainable models before it is too late.
