The painting is a warm and vibrant expression in rich yellows and orange in transparent and opaque brush marks and washes. It is perhaps evocative of Fall, or autumn, when leaves are falling from trees - the pattern of their flight path to earth determined by the breeze, or wind - swirling into corners or heaps then scattering again.
