About

Artist's Statement: Pattern and accident interact in spaces that have architectural, bodily and vegetable references. Hyperbolic light effects offset encrusted thickly painted areas, bringing attention to both the ethereal and physical aspects of paint. Warping grids can be ruins or bathroom tile, leaves can be from a tree or in a salad. There are recurring motifs that find an array of contexts to exist in, sometimes referring to the natural world, sometimes domestic spaces.
