Jose was greatly influenced by the "Movida Madrileña" an explosive cultural period in the 1980's during Spain's transition from dictatorship to democracy which produced arist's such as Ceesepe, Fernando Vicente, Ana Juan, Ouka Leele and Javier de Juan.
