About the Item
'Views at dusk'
An extremely delicate abstract, soft, gentle, wind swept tones of pink, tan, white and earthy colour. Richly layered paint reveal beautiful textures and delicate descriptive detail. Colours I have used are yellow pink, magenta, mushroom, tan, mist grey, white and light rose.
Serene landscape series is a collection of works exploring the place she lives, where she was born, grew up, the home she loves. Being connected to the natural world brings Kathleen peace and pure joy. She finds beauty and calm being out in nature, a sense of connection and the feeling of stability.
'All of my work is a direct expression of my day to day life, informed and inspired by the incredible landscape and country I live in, Australia. The ever changing clear blue to pink skies morning and night, to the pristine beaches, rocky cliff faces and deep ocean blues.'
