Sound of The Wind - I spent a lot of time in the garden for inspiration during lockdown. Looking at all the different shades of greens, they seemed to shimmer, glow and pop out at me in the sunlight. Framed in a simple wooden frame.
Mountaintop, Sound of the Wind - Our first drive outside our immediate area after lockdown. It was sunny in the studio but as we headed into the Beacons, the wind picked up as the temperature dropped. The light was disappointing but the feeling of being on the mountain road again and clambering by the stream made me see, hear and feel everything around me so differently. Framed in a simple wooden frame.
The Silence of Sound - This painting is inspired but the joy of living near a waterfall, the silence that comes after being immersed in it, the delicious viscosity of paint, and the joy that comes with living in the landscape, combing the earth for materials. Framed in a simple wooden frame.
