Nicholas Broughton
The Celebration by Nicholas Broughton, Acrylic and Oil Carnival Painting

About the Item

Oil and acrylic with bitumen. Brazil's Carnival has a great influence on Broughton's life as a young person living in Brazil. He remains inspired by the spinning, curving dancers. Broughton feels that often, “free dance” is more energetic, exciting and spontaneous than choreographed dance—as the free spirit is allowed to express itself. This work is a celebration of the human spirit.
