Artist Patrick O'Boyle fills the canvas with esoteric shapes to create an abstract view. Shades of lime green, powder blue, and hot pink fill the smooth contours. Part of his Aerial Landscape series. He references vertical photography of various places he has traveled. Every part of the landscape uses a point to create an organic structure filled with color, line, and texture.
About the Artist
Patrick O'Boyle primarily paints in a studio, rarely using reference material other than his own thoughts and dreams. He always paints in a series of five - at the end of the fifth painting he revisits and reworks all of them until he feels they're complete. Using extra-long handles on his brushes, Patrick paints at a distance from the canvas so he can see the works evolve as a whole from the one color he starts with to the vibrant array at the end.

Alicia Dunn’s abstract paintings are affected by a confluence of elements: the weather, her mood, and the properties of her materials. “Ceding control to these things allows the magic to happen,†the artist explains.
