This painting is the epitome of an emotional abstract creation. It was painted over a very old self portrait in black and white and therefore the title "Covering Up The Past" has both a literal and figurative meaning. This piece is one of a kind and striking in it's use of black and white, with hints of yellows and red which pop against the negative space. The texture and subtle variation of color really enhance this piece and give it more depth and energy. Note & Shipping: To the USA, this painting ships in a box and comes hang ready with the sides painted as an extension of the painting itself. This makes the piece interesting to look at from all angles. Framing is unnecessary. Internationally, this painting will come shipped in a tube.
